Nursery Trees at Twin Bridge

Many of the nursery trees at Twin Bridge come from our own Carolina tree farm. That's right. Much of our B&B (balled and burlapped) stock we grow ourselves on one of our farms! We also have rows and rows of container trees that come from reliable suppliers.

What does this mean to you? It means we have one of the best selections in Upstate SC and the Greenville area. We have fast growing shade trees, different types of evergreen trees, privacy trees, you name it. There are so many varieties, you just may find it hard to choose.

Our Tree Farms

Rows Of Root Ball Trees In Our Nursery

Our own fields are full of all kinds of trees, all sizes. It starts with seedlings and small stock. It takes extra care when they're first planted to make sure they get a good start. If an untimely dry spell hits, you have to keep them watered.

Throughout their field life, ours trees get the right nutrients to flourish. We keep them sprayed to prevent insect infestations. Some trees require extra care in the field to trim and prune.

After a few years and some attention to detail, harvesting starts. You dig some at a smaller size for the budget minded customer. Others stay in the ground longer and grow into a larger and heavier root ball (balled and burlapped) tree.

Nursery trees are not a product that can be made with a day's notice. You really need to plan ahead. What you start now won't be ready to harvest for years. And ... you need to keep the pipeline full. It feels like we're always planting more trees!

So now you know the story behind the majority of our large B&B (root ball) trees at Twin Bridge Nursery.

From evergreens to deciduous, from one gallon containers to large balled and burlapped (root ball) trees, chances are good that you'll find what you're looking for. And if we don't have it here, just ask. We may have it on one of our tree farms.

Many of our customers are unsure when it comes to selection, and rely on us for our plant knowledge. Some people are lost when asked if they're looking for an evergreen or a deciduous tree. That alright. It's okay to need guidance. That's why we're here.
