Why are they crazy? Camellias bloom at an unusual time, from late fall to early spring.
These evergreen shrubs have beautiful blooms in a season where most shrubs take a break and go dormant. While native to Asia, they've been in the U.S. for over 200 years.
We carry both the Camellia Japonica and the Camellia Sasanqua, which are the common species in our area. There are many varieties of each, so come choose your favorite today.
New nursery stock is constantly arriving, and the yard is filling up. We received some more Loropetalums.
We've also received a variety of Hollies in many sizes, some Green Mountain Boxwoods, Yoshino Cherry trees, and the unusual Carolina Ruby Yaupon in tree form.
If you're wondering, we have not yet received any frost sensitive plants.
We offer a delivery service for our customers. This can be particularly convenient for bulk product such as mulch and topsoil, or for large orders.
Delivery Tip: Plan ahead. Know where you want the driver to drop the material. Sorry, our driver can't go through mud. He'll get stuck!
There is a $30 charge for delivery less than 10 miles. We'll go up to a maximum of 25 miles for an extra fee of $2 per mile.
Our plants love water, and they get watered often, especially when it's hot. Our nursery grounds are not paved.
Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking. You may encounter a little bit of mud. If you're wearing dress shoes or heels, you may get stuck, however, our friendly staff is equipped to pull you out!
Be aware that the yard can get quite warm in the summer. The sales building is not air conditioned, but often has a good breeze blowing through, plus there are fans. In the winter, dress warmly.
Come see us today at Twin Bridge Nursery and Garden Center. You just may be pleasantly surprised.
